Terms of service
Last updated: September 2026
Service
UnitSwapper is a free unit and currency converter published by Dizzus GmbH, Zug, Switzerland. Using the site or its API means you accept these terms.
Accuracy
Conversion factors follow the international definitions documented on the methodology page. Results are rounded to six significant digits for display. Exchange rates are daily reference rates, not trading quotes. The service is provided "as is"; for any use where an error would have legal, medical, financial or safety consequences, verify the result against a primary source.
API and fair use
The public API (/api/v1/…) is free and needs no key. It is limited to 600 requests per minute per IP address, the same limit as the website. Automated use that degrades the service for others, scraping of the full site, or resale of the API as a service may be blocked without notice. There are no paid plans.
Intellectual property
The texts, design and code of the site belong to Dizzus GmbH. Conversion factors and formulas are public knowledge and may be reused freely; a link back to the page you used is appreciated but not required. Reproducing the editorial content for commercial purposes requires written permission.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Dizzus GmbH is not liable for damages arising from the use of the service, including conversion errors, service interruptions or the unavailability of third-party rate providers.
Applicable law
These terms are governed by Swiss law. Place of jurisdiction is Zug, Switzerland, subject to mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country of residence.
